OUR SERVICES

We stay closely engaged at every stage of the journey—from initial selection and acquisition, through training and racing, and well beyond the horse’s debut on the track.

Performance Management

Our horse management approach is designed to be flexible, tailored, and client-focused. Rather than simply assisting with the purchase of a horse and stepping away, we remain actively involved throughout the entire process—from the initial selection and purchase, through training and racing, and long after the horse has stepped onto the track.

Overview

Australia is home to one of the most competitive thoroughbred racing industries in the world, and careful planning is required to give every horse the best opportunity to succeed. LPJ works closely with trainers and racing professionals to ensure that each horse follows a structured preparation tailored to its ability and stage of development. We monitor training progress, assess performance in trials and races, and adjust race programs accordingly.

Strategic race placement is a key part of our management approach. By analysing form, race conditions, and competition levels, we help ensure horses are placed in races that maximise their chances of performing well and building confidence.

Our performance management system also focuses on long-term development. Every horse is different, and our flexible approach allows us to adapt strategies based on individual strengths, maturity, and racing potential. This considered approach allows us to manage workloads carefully, place horses in the most suitable races, and ensure they are given the time and support needed to develop into consistent performers over the course of their racing careers.
